Description:

Circa 1850-1925. This fine and well made twelve panel black lacquer and hardstone screen is in immaculate original condition with no missing pieces or cracks to the lacquer. The only issue is a few missing loops and a pin, part of the older style "ring pin" hinge style. Could use cleaning and waxing, otherwise just a fantastic screen incorporating many different types of hardstones. Each panel measures approx. 16" wide by 72" (six feet) tall. Twelve panels and some of the space between them create a screen a bit over 200" total width (over 16 feet wide flat measure).
