20thC. This fine 11 1/2" tall four sided carved hard soapstone statue is free of cracks and repairs, and shows one chip and one tiny fleabite. Of this type of carved statue, most are softer soapstone, and not nearly carved as well. This four sided statue is heavy and is carved from first quality materials. The stepped base measures approx. 4 1/2' x 4 1/2".
