Made in England by Laney Amplification LTD. Serial # rubbed off. We did not test any of the amps, guitars or audio equipment. Listing and selling as is-as found. This is an 8-knob AOR series Pro Tube Lead from the mid-80s. Essentially a hotrodded JCM 800 with two channels (no footswitch included) and pullout boosts on all three t-m-b eq knobs, as well as on the preamp 1 volume. These amps are known for big bass sounds, lots of gain, and a surprisingly decent clean tone. It can get very loud, and has a very controllable master volume (exactly the opposite of the zero-to-earthquake control on my jcm 800). Also has a buffered effects loop with an 8db boost.
