18thC Stiegel "Perfume" Bottle Flask Amethyst

Description:

Mid to late 18thC. No chips, no cracks. Here are how the note is written: "Blown from clear amethyst non-lead glass pattern molded and expanded in variant of diamond-daisy design. See similar bottle illustrated in Two Hundred Years of American Blown Glass by Helen and George S. McKearin, plate I, no. 3. Bought June 7th 1972 from Josephine I. Dawes, Hightstown NJ $1500. Very rare but this price probably much too high"
