African Carved Painted Wood Cowrie Shell String Mask

Description:

2nd-3rd quarter 20thC. Measurements are made using only the wood mask itself, not including the raffia or rolled cloth surround. Ragged teeth are added pieces of aluminum can. Looks to be in Fine original condition, measuring approx. 24" with string attachments.
