Native Chihuahua Mexicin man wearing red bandana. Paper. Sight size: 20 x 16. Oscar Soto Hermosillo, was born in the municipality of La Cruz, Chih., In 1945, he studied high school, and between 1962-65, he entered the University of Chihuahua in the Department of Fine Arts. It should be noted that he received valuable lessons from the teachers Leandro and Ernesto Carreón. His works have been presented in 105 exhibitions in Mexico and abroad, highlighting a collective at the Sunwest Bank in 1991, where he alternated with paintings by Rufino Tamayo and Cuevas, Vicente Rojo, Jesús Helguera, Rafael and Pedro Coronel, Giranolla and Francisco Zúñiga . He also had the opportunity to perform at Hospicio Cabañas in Guadalajara and at the Crown Plaza Holiday Inn Hotel in Monterrey.
