Circa mid 19thC. Oak secondary. On the left side there is some varnish fogging needing stain (or not), and a bit of bottom banding loss, not much. This antique mid 19thC desk features lots of contrasting veneers, creating a very striking piece that's small enough to fit into any home office or apartment space. Larger slant-front desks are not as usefull as they once were, most having a size considertion. However this desk is remarkably useful, and because of the tiny size these types remain popular.
