Description:
ca. 20thC. Usually this form of wrought iron plant stand is lightweight and not very sturdy. Usually due to thinner guage iron used to cut costs. This piece is the exception. It's extremely well made with thick gauge, heavy weight iron, having a wide stance (or splay) on the bottom for even more strength and stability. In other words, this stand will hold a much heavier planter than most any other stand of a similar size.
