Description:

First half 19thC, with original red paint, this six board blanket chest with drawer is not dovetailed. It retains original hardware, however missing top escutcheon insert. All raised on bracket feet. The left foot has a missing side portion on the bottom as shown. Various expected condition issues from age and use as shown. Strap hinges. Great looking piece with scarce original red.
